BBC Storyworks
Working alongside the team I helped to develop the initial concept design, storyboards and animation of this piece. Building on the BBC’s brain-based logo, we developed a concept that visually took viewers inside the brain to showcase the emotional data. We combined animation techniques, including After Effects and Cinema 4D, with some live-action elements filmed in the studio.

This 90-second animated explainer video was commissioned by BBC Worldwide commissioned for a research project by BBC StoryWorks. The study used facial recognition technology to track emotional responses to branded content, surveying over 5,000 people across six global markets.
The goal was to generate interest from industry audiences, including trade marketing and the press, encouraging them to explore the research findings further.

The video was successfully rolled out across various media platforms, including launch events, digital poster sites, and even small screens in videopaks, in both Australia and the UK.
